​PAWS/LA's programs are designed to ease the financial, physical and emotional challenges of caring for a companion animal, both in and outside of the home. To that end, PAWS/LA provides a comprehensive package of essential animal support services — all at no charge — to eligible participants. Please note that some services are dependent on volunteer support and may not be immediately available.

People Living with HIV/AIDS
Seniors
U.S. Veterans


​To be eligible, clients must reside in Los Angeles County. Eligible service animals must be six months or older. If not already, clients must have their animal spayed/neutered before services can be offered. Other requirements apply depending on program. All services are provided on a case-by-case basis to enrolled clients as funds are available.
