PAWSAPALOOZA Draws Hundreds of Dog Lovers to West HollyWOOF! Park
PAWS/LA’s annual dog walk and festival (PAWSAPALOOZA) ) attracted more than 250 animal lovers from across Southern California to West Hollywood Park on August 8. The event advertised as “a celebration of all things canine” delivered, showcasing local and national pet product brands while uplifting the importance of the human-animal bond.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled with the success of our 3rd Annual PAWSAPLOOZA,” said Pamela Magette, Executive Director of PAWS/LA. “It was a great way to connect with our community, celebrate the power of the human-animal bond and, most importantly, to spread the message about helping pets and people in need.”
For the second year in a row, Wendy Burch of KTLA 5 served at Honorary Event Chair of PAWSAPALOOZA.
“My dog (Sophy) and I always enjoy teaming-up with PAWS/LA and being ambassadors for this important cause,” Burch said. “Seniors and disabled Angelenos benefit from the companionship that animals provide. By celebrating our own beloved pets, we can help the most vulnerable among us keep and care for their own four-legged family members.”
PAWS/LA hopes to continue partnering with the City of West Hollywood to bring PAWSAPALOOZA to life for many years to come.
