Earlier this PAWS/LA was featured in the Pacifica Radio podcast, The Out Agenda on KPFK.org. Our Director of Programs Steve Wayland shared the history and mission of PAWS/LA, using his 25 years of organizational knowledge. Hosts of The Out Agenda, Ralph Radebuagh and Rita Gonzalez, asked fantastic questions that allowed us to discuss the importance of our work, express our gratitude for our volunteers, and communicate the ongoing need for resources and support. We want to thank Ralph and Rita for their diligence in preparing for this interview. We also want to thank them for encouraging their listeners to be proud of their identity! Their tagline is: Being out is the first step to being equal! This interview came at a perfect time, as it allowed us to promote the DTLA Proud Block Party at Night on Broadway, taking place this Saturday, January 28th, in downtown LA. For more information about that event please visit www.dtlaproud.org Click on the "Listen Now" button (on the left) to hear the full interview. PAWS/LA has been invited to participate in a fun event called Night on Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles. We are partnering with a downtown-LA group called DTLA PROUD, which works to create an all inclusive community that represents the diverse population that lives, works and plays downtown.
